Oliver Stanley "Olly" Murs (born May 14, 1984 in Witham, Essex, England) is an English singer-songwriter. He achieved second place on the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009.
Olly Murs stopped off at the Motorpoint Arena on Thursday night as part of his Marry Me Tour and delivered an energetic and charismatic performance that had the crowd in the palm of his hand from beginning to end, teasing them with his boyish charm and flirtatious dancing.
It was sweet to hear all these thoughts and reflections on what has been a real rollercoaster ride for Olly, but the likeable star probably talked a bit too much for this writer’s liking – although the crowd, made of up a wide range of ages, from children to middle-aged couples, seemed to love it.
