In a year that we've been waiting for and manifesting the day we can dance again, Factory Summer Festival has offered a line up that was curated to truly celebrate that momentous moment. With Peking Duk, Benson and Confidence Man headlining their SNACK event, it was unsurprising when it reached SOLD OUT status.
Bringing their biggest headline tour to date to New Zealand, Peking Duk threw down a set at Auckland Town Hall last night that was as both amusing as it was entertaining; the Aussie duo's distinct flavour colouring their performance.
With the crowd already more than warmed up thanks to support acts Ivan Ooze and Brisbane's own Mallrat, the Canberra pairing of Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles where able to launch straight into their up-tempo and high energy set.
The newly 18-year-old got people dancing with tracks from the EP she dropped last year and a cover of Drake's Pop Style before closing her set with Uninvited, getting the whole crowd to sing the song's hook.
Warming up the punters with a mixture of deep house samples and straightforward dance hits the solo producer treated us to his track Hot Mess early on in his set.
