It’s been some time since I have listened to Phillip Phillips and I had zero ideas on what to anticipate from his live show.
Singer Phillip Phillips showed with his headline show at Musikfest’s main Steel Stage on Saturday that he apparently has learned a lot since winning the 11th season of FOX-TV’s American Idol in 2012, and the two-year contract dispute over the direction of his career.
The singer-songwriter / guitarist returned to the Twin Cities April 3rd in support of his third album “Collateral”, this time headlining on the main stage at First Avenue.
Nathanson – with his boyish charm and charismatic performance – combined with Phillips’ soulful voice and impressive guitar-playing made for a great night at Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre.
Paramount Theatre Denver Opener Christian Burghardt and his band took the stage wordlessly before launching into “Paradise” from the singer-songwriter’s debut EP Safe Place to Land.
