On a stereotypically rainy evening in Manchester, the O2 Ritz finds itself jam packed to the rafters. Full of punks, emos and metalheads alike, they’re all here for a sold out show by the Welsh troupe; PUNK ROCK FACTORY.
Anyone who has been on TikTok (or been anywhere remotely near an emo theatre kid) will have heard of PUNK ROCK FACTORY, a group that are known for their covers of songs from pop culture.
Whilst Peej's nerves get the better of him for the first couple of songs (only obvious by the missing of an occasional line) the entire band are passionate and promising from beginning to end and are all very talented musicians in their own right.
When festival season was wiped out last year thanks to the raging COVID-19 pandemic, for us music fans, it felt a hammerblow with our summer being quiet and solitary away from the buzz of a packed crown or the roar of amplified noise on an outdoor stage.
