The band was formed in 2007 by membersRichard Frenneaux (vocals/guitar), Shawn Day (bass), James Griffiths (drums), Paul Mellon (guitar) and Chris Edmonds (keyboards) out of the ashes of Frenneaux and Griffiths' former band Dirty Perfect.

Down at the Borderline tonight are Red Light Company, fresh from the release of their debut album Fine Fascination.
Up first are Derby’s You Animals, a pop-punk band with a whole load of enthusiasm and raw talent. Infectious hooks and bags of energy make for a great warm-up act.

However while the sharply dressed four-piece from Leeds appear to possess a rich musical tapestry the muddiness of their delivery leaves a lot to be desired.
Much of the press that has been printed this year and late last year makes them out to be the saviour of the British music scene, praise that can have a detrimental effect on those that cannot up to the hype.
