Andrew Roachford was born and raised in South London on 22nd January 1965 to West Indian parents He has achieved four gold status albums and was Columbia Records' longest serving recording artist, achieving a total of eleven top 50 hits.

Gone are the early gigs as a diehard fan reminds him tonight where he had so little material that he would have to play each song three times.
Then there was a slow fizzle to obscurity since Roachford was apparently too much of a rocker for the soul crowd but not rocky enough for the headbangers.
Having toured with some famous names such as Terence Trent Darby and The Christians and signing a seven album deal with Colombia Roachford became one of the record labels biggest selling acts for ten years.
