Rod Picott (born November 3, 1964) is an American singer-songwriter whose music incorporates elements of Americana, alt-country, and folk. He grew up in New Hampshire, but relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 1994.

Tonight's headliner at Lincolnshire's premier Americana music venue, The Town Hall, Kirton in Lindsey sees the return of one of Nashville's finest singer-songwriters of the last twenty years in Rod Picott.
In a recent interview with AUK ahead of his UK tour Rod Picott's enthusiasm for getting back out playing came across loud and clear. Even on the penultimate date of his UK tour, after a day where he had done a radio interview, performed at Maverick then drove for several hours, that energy had not diminished.
I was told Seth Avett had drawn a caricature of the guitarist and looking at it hanging, it felt like the Grateful Dead founder was peering out to the audience.
