At 2021 WOMAD, the park may have been smaller, your seat was a plastic lawn chair instead of picnic rug spread out upon the Botanic Gardens' grass, but if you squinted your eyes (or maybe had a glass or three of Yalumba shiraz), you were teleported back to 2020, to the last major international festival before the world

But nothing was more exciting than the announcement of The Tivoli's first ever “in the round” shows.

“Can I indulge you?” a softly spoken Sarah Blasko asks the excited Brisbane crowd. The songstress is celebrating the release of her sixth studio album “Depth Of Field” by a massive national tour that sees her playing the experimental new record in it's entirety.

Blasko's songs deal with heart break and betrayal but what remains is the memory of her warm and soaring vocals.
