The Academy Is- was a rock band which formed in 2003 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The band's longest lasting lineup consisted of William Beckett (vocals, guitar), Mike Carden (guitar, vocals), Michael Chislett (guitar, keyboards), Adam Siska (bass) and Andy Mrotek (drums).
