The Bottle Rockets are a rock band which formed in Festus, Missouri, United States in 1992. The band currently consists of Brian Henneman (vocals, guitar), John Horton (guitar), Keith Voegele (bass) and Mark Ortmann (drums).

While many in the audience were there to specifically see the Old 97's, undoubtedly each band gained some new followers as a result of some great performances.
The Bottle Rockets tuned up to an eager crowd who was already pushing the stage when the band walked on. Frontman Brian Henneman, by any standard, has a powerful gift of oration; he would undoubtedly be a very effective political leader or teacher — or perhaps a preacher.
If you’re the type of person who lives day in day out with an unquenchable thirst for real rock ‘n’ roll, chances are you’ve heard of the Bottle Rockets.
