Code Orange’s amalgam of sinister samples, hardcore blast-beat bluster and groovy, sludge-infested riffs have garnered them a devoted following and a wave of unexpected hype.
The Melburnians were taut, applied themselves to the task and clearly wanted to be there, but the whole affair didn't quite connect, feeling stylistically unfocused at times.
