The Get Up Kids’ show at The Grog Shop in Cleveland, Ohio officially sold out sometime right after opener Sparta got off stage. Flannels and baseball caps, chuck taylor’s and van’s old schools crowded into the tiny venue, which is also celebrating a milestone of it’s own with it’s 30th Anniversary this month

Unfortunately, the age-old struggle hit the Kansas City band when their third and fourth records harnessed a mellower sound which didnt resonate with their base. The Get Up Kids broke up in 2004.
