The Messthetics are an experimental jazz rock trio from Washington, D.C. featuring the rhythm section of Fugazi – drummer Brendan Canty and bassist Joe Lally. They are joined by experimental jazz guitarist Anthony Pirog. Their debut album, The Messthetics, was released in March, 2018.
