Critic Consensus
Based on 6 concert reviews, the critic consensus is that Tim Reynolds is rated as a remarkable live performer, with impressive shows that are worth watching.
Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, the son of a devoutly religious military man, Tim spent much of his childhood moving-from Alaska to St. Louis and through much of the Bible-belt Midwest.
Tim Reynolds rolled into Nippertown last night, much to the delight of a crowd that had spent too long without live music. This was the fourth date of a modest ten date solo tour, which will be immediately followed by the much anticipated (rescheduled) Dave Matthews Band tour.
Since then, Reynolds has been featured on nearly all of Matthews’s albums, put out a number of live compilations, had a handful of successful recordings with the band TR3, and enjoyed a prolific solo career.
Then again, there's hardly a season when the German-born guitar virtuoso isn't on the road with a visit to Evanston's SPACE coming a mere matter of months after stopping by Chicago with Matthews for Farm Aid 30.
Tim often performs with Dave Matthews as “Dave and Tim” or as part of Dave's "Friends,” and has appeared as an accompanist on albums such as Soko’s In November Sunlight.
