Arriving late I walked into the band room to be smacked in the face by a loud wall of noise made by Lost Valentinos Van She’s support for this album launch tour.
The Aussie electronic dance-rock group is currently touring on their excellent 2012 album Idea of Happiness and started the show with their title track, which is arguably the best song on the album.
With new record Idea of Happiness having just hit stores there were plenty of punters frothing at the bit to see how the new songs would fare in the live arena.
But I caught up with the change at Brisbane’s Hi-Fi where Van She performed as part of their Idea Of Happiness promotional tour supported by RuFuS and Pigeon.
The night kicked off with a killer set from the adorable indie-electronica up and comers Rufus who got the crowd well and truly pumped with their vibrant tunes and simple-but-effective lyrics.
