The crowds in Brighton are always a mixed bag.

Thursday's show at The Shrine in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was like getting two sides of the same coin. Both Ryan Culwell and Will Hoge can be found in the Americana genre and both are talented songwriters.

Even though, as Hoge pointed out, the writer tended to go negative such as with the comment that Hoge's major label career was well behind him.

In the middle of recording the follow up to his 2007 album Draw the Curtains Hoge got into an accident while leaving the studio on his motor scooter.
