Ziggy Alberts is a home-schooled songwriter, free surfer & environmental enthusiast based out of Byron Bay, Australia. Picking up a left handed guitar in 2011, Ziggy has supported the likes of Ash Grunwald, Nick Saxon, Benjalu San Cisco, Daniel Champagne, Dustin Thomas & Mat Mchugh, with performances at both Bluesfest & Splendour in the Grass in 2014.

Ziggy Alberts played his first show in Western Australia in three-and-a-half years as he headlined Saturday’s Here Comes The Sun festival in Margaret River, also featuring The Dreggs, DZ Deathrays and Winston Surfshirt.
Ziggy Alberts has had a whirlwind year full of crazy highs which has seen him touring the world with his biggest run of dates yet including a coveted spot on the Splendour In The Grass line up.
There couldn't have been a more fitting venue than the back lawn at the Fremantle Arts Centre for the two bare-footed boys from Byron, Ziggy Alberts and Kim Churchill.
