Critic Consensus
Based on 41 concert reviews, the critic consensus is that Cymbals Eat Guitars is rated as a decent live performer, with shows that lack distinction. Cymbals Eat Guitars concert reviews describe live shows and performances as frantic and anthemic.
Cymbals Eat Guitars were an indie rock band from Staten Island, New York, United States, who formed in 2005. They consist of Joseph D'Agostino (vocals, guitar), Matthew Whipple (bass, vocals), Brian Hamilton (keyboards, vocals) and Andrew Dole (drums).
Clearly, lead singer Joseph D’Agostino was in good spirits, as he was rarely absent with a smile or smirk on his face while looking toward his band or crowd.
Nine months ago nearly to the date I saw Cymbals Eat Guitars debut much of what would become third LP LOSE to a half-empty room at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory.
