Ed Kuepper is an Australian guitarist, singer and songwriter. He co-founded the seminal punk band The Saints, the experimental post-punk group Laughing Clowns and later the grunge-like The Aints.
The duo played their way through Ed’s back catalogue, resisting the temptation of making it a pure ‘Greatest Hits’ gig; rather, it was a totally mesmerizing sonic extravaganza which highlighted Ed’s guitar playing and Jim’s free-flowing drumming.
It's Wednesday night (4 November) and the magical musical coupling of Brisbane's punk pioneer Ed Kuepper and Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) is about to take place at The Tivoli.
Audience participation was a key part of the event, none more so than on 'Real Wild Life', which required us to provide the flute solo at key moments (we failed badly).
