Half Man Half Biscuit, often abbreviated to "HMHB", are an indie rock band from Birkenhead, England, active sporadically since the 1984, known for its satirical, sardonic, and sometimes surreal songs. The group consists of Nigel Blackwell (lead vocals, guitar), Neil Crossley (bass), Ken Hancock (lead guitar), and Carl Henry (drums).

I mean they don’t feature ‘moshing’ in any sense that implies either danger or acrobatics but neither could it reasonably be called ‘dancing’ either.

They are clearly familiar with the delights of Shropshire, however, as the County features in some of their songs and they are the probably the only band to sing about the famous Wrekin hill! (‘Rod Hull is Alive – why?’).
