Sydney electro-soul band Okenyo opened the night showcasing lead vocalist Zindzi Okenyo’s powerhouse vocals and overwhelming energy dominating the stage as she belted out tracks like Broken Chest and Isis and Osisris.

While the crowd definitely gave the set their tick of approval, the clear highlights came when the tightly-wound guitar riffs were given pride of place, allowing James Vann's lyrics to sit nicely on top.
