The first half of the show however is taken up with All Animals, the EP that was recorded at the same time as Riceboy Sleeps. Very much a prelude to tonight’s main piece it slowly presents itself as a clean, choral-supplemented orchestral drone that, live, recalls the likes of Stars Of The Lid.

The fragile beauty of the album shone through.

Then the woodland combusts and the wolf explodes into paint and it's clear solo Jonsi is a more unusual creation than Sigur Ros have (so far) allowed themselves to be.
