Better than: The last show I saw at Verizon Theatre--Brian Wilson. I don't even think his keyboard was plugged in.
Jonsi's performance on Monday night at Verizon Theatre was like watching a man go free.
No longer held up by the trappings of Sigur Ro
Only a few scant youtube videos some myspace info and a couple of promo articles prepared me for what I was about to witness and even that proved of little use.
Then the woodland combusts and the wolf explodes into paint and it's clear solo Jonsi is a more unusual creation than Sigur Ros have (so far) allowed themselves to be.
