La Sera is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, featuring Katy Goodman (formerly of Vivian Girls). Their first album was recorded in spring 2009 by Katy and her good friend, filmmaker and music producer Brady Hall.

As La Sera, former Vivian Girls member Katy Goodman released a new album called Music for Listening to Music To (via Polyvinyl Records), and then a new EP titled Queens.
Touring mates Springtime Carnivore preceded playing hit “Name on a Matchbook,” with Greta Morgan including some songs from the new cover album she did with Goodman called Take It, It’s Yours.
Early in the year Goodman and husband/bandmate Todd Wisenbaker released a fourth La Sera album the Ryan Adams produced Music for Listening to Music To.
It was hardly surprising, then, that the turnout at the Biltmore was well below what you’d expect for a stacked weekend bill, with only a few dozen onlookers scattered around the venue.
