The Forum came alive on Sunday evening, headlined by the phenomenal You Me At Six, with support from the spirited Set It Off and Melbourne’s very own Between You and Me.
First up is singer/songwriter Lizzy Farrall who blends her own unique alternative sound with pop and synth highlights. She’s energetic and delivers a pitch perfect vocal and engages the crowd well, encouraging them to join in.
Patience is a virtue, and over the last few years live music is something we have all had to be patient for. Few tours though have had quite as many postponements as that of American pop rockers SET IT OFF.
A common attitude amongst bands who gain rapid success early in their career is ‘stick with what we know’ or ‘play it safe’, and while this may work for the unambitious, there are a fair few out there who never settle for mediocrity.
