The Dear Hunter is an American progressive rock band originating in Providence, Rhode Island. It began as a side project of Casey Crescenzo when he was a member of The Receiving End of Sirens, before becoming his main band in 2006.
Getting to the church partway through Carbon’s opening number gave us fair warning that rather than being used for communicating with the heavens, the bands were ready to wake the heavens with amplified bliss.
But if that wasn’t reason enough to get pumped for the show, lead singer Casey Crescenzo dropped a little surprise for fans that upped the level of enthusiasm by uttering the words they have longed to hear: Act IV.

Memorable Because: The first few drops of rain came down when Casey Crescenzo and the rest of the Dear Hunter were in the middle of playing their experimental rock, which seemed to have a bipolar attitude when it came to the
