The Vaselines are an indie pop band from Glasgow, Scotland. Formed in 1986, the band was originally made up of only vocalists/guitarists Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee, but later added James Seenan and Eugene's brother Charlie Kelly on bass and drums respectively from the band Secession.

Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee play a mix of songs from across their back catalogue tonight much to the delight of the 'Vaseline-faithful' that have turned out to Summerhall
Tonight's performance under the moon brings three artists together for a night of exquisite entertainment culminating in people literally dancing in the aisles
And The Vaselines have still managed to surprise such as releasing not one not two but now three complete collections of their entire body of work (which was limited to an LP and a couple EPs).
