Bio
Cave In is an American rock band formed in 1995 in Methuen, Massachusetts. The band was originally formed by vocalist Jay Frechette and vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky. They named themselves Cave In as a reference to the Codeine song Cave-In. The initial lineup also included guitarist Adam McGrath, drummer John-Robert Conners, and bassist Justin Matthes.
It’s been three long years since CAVE IN last graced these shores. At that time, they were still reeling from the loss of bassist Caleb Schofield but tonight they’re reinvigorated with their latest album, the excellent Heavy Pendulum added to their already formidable catalogue.
Cave In, the seminal Methuen, Masschusetts, post-hardcore/metal group, is doing its most extensive touring this year since the tragic 2018 death of bassist Caleb Scofield.
