“Burton-on-Trent is the hub of all things hip and innovative” is not a headline you're likely to see in this lifetime.

There’s a warm comfort to their music that ironically compliments tonight’s drizzled upon and downcast urban scene.

An evening of delicate song is played out at Kazimier, Getintothis’ Emma Walsh dodges drunken audience shambolics for some mini Welsh wonders. Forcing my way through a packed crowd to get a good spot, I was greeted with the accomplished and powerful sound of TCF, combining elements of grunge rock, punk rock and prog rock soundscapes.

Sweet and alluring with good banter to match, from the moment they step on stage at the Louisiana tonight the audience know they’ve spent their money well on this gig ticket.

‘The music wafted gracefully over the audience heads’, ‘From then on the gig took flight…’,’The evening plummeted to a fiery demise as all aboard screamed in horror’…you get the picture.
