Tuesday night’s double bill at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center was a dream for any devotee of classic rock. Not only did we have the mighty Doobie Brothers continuing their sprawling 50th anniversary jaunt, but also the legendary Steve Winwood as opener.
The crowd was clearly on the gray-haired side of things and in a venue more apt to host Mozart’s Requiem than a rock concert, a subdued night was expected.
